Domestic Water Lines
Domestic hot & cold lines are complete! The home is piped in a 'home run' style, where each hot and cold fixture has a direct PEX feed from a mech room manifold. It minimizes water waste while waiting for hot water, and allows for easy fixture isolation in the mech room should there ever be an issue.
The drainwater heat recovery coil is also plumbed in now. We'll Tee off from the main city connection, run through the DWHR coil (bottom to top) and then into the combi boiler. This way all domestic hot water is preheated by the coil, should there be any warm water discharge at that time.
